Animal Farm Essay!

After you read this story you will understand. Even though you think it is only a book about old animals it is really based on a specific part in history. This story was written by George Orwell in 1945, based on the history in Russia and was turned into book. If you can get your way in life then you will survive, if you believe everything you hear, who knows what your fate will be. In Animal Farm, the way characters respond to the stories has a strong connection to their ability’s to survive.

In animal farm, one of the characters that got the good life was Squealer because he mastered the way to survive. First, one way was the problem with the beds. In one of the seven commandments it stated, “No Animal shall sleep in a bed.” The point was that they were not allowed. Squealer however convinced all the animals that they were allowed but you just couldn’t have any sheets. So the commandment was now” No animal shall sleep in bed with sheets.” Second, there was also the incident with the milk and the apples. The pigs stole the milk and the apples from all the other animals that need it as well. Squealer, with his excellent speaking, was able to convince the other animals to let the pigs have the milk and apples by” Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. We need the milk and apples to stay healthy for you. If we don’t drink the milk, and eat the apples, you don’t want Jones to come back?” Third, there was also the death of Boxer. Squealer told all the animals on the farm that he died peacefully in a hospital. He really got sold to a horse slaughterer. A lesson that was mostly picked up is that if you are like Squealer, then you will survive and you really picked up the game of life. As for Squealer he ended up rich and powerful and also a right hand man for everyone.

Another animal that had a strong connection to the story Animal Farm was Benjamin. He was in the middle of the entire process. When I said in the middle is that they understand but still need to put pieces together. Firstly, during the debate about the windmill or food, he never picked a side to go to. He is just an animal in the sidelines. He didn’t see the need for a windmill at all, but they needed the food as well. “Only old Benjamin refused to pick a side in the debate.” Second he saw the change in the seven commandments. He was the first to notice that something odd was going on in the farm. Since he couldn’t read as well he told Muriel to read them to him and then they finally found the change. However, if they talked out of Napoleon’s rules they will die. Third, Boxer death really hurt everyone. Benjamin said, ”Fools, do you not see what is written on the side of the van.” The van read” Alfred simmonds, horse slaughterer and glue boiler, willingdon” A lesson that was picked up for people like Benjamin in that you should be the way you are. You just need to be faster in figuring out what is really about to happen. As for Benjamin, he survived the game.

The last animal is Boxer. You do not want to be like boxer at all because for many reasons. First, to defend my reasoning he was a hard worker. He was the one that pulled the farm together and got the work done.” I will work harder” will always get him motivated to do something. During on of the battles on the farm Boxer got hurt. Since he is a loyal animal, he decided not to tell anyone and keep working. Until one day when he couldn’t stand the pain he told clover the truth. Another statement is he will always put the farm first instead of himself in most cases. As the windmill fell down for the second time around he never lost hope neither did clover so they didn’t mind repairing it yet again. In some days that there was a lot of work to do on the farm he will usually wake up earlier than the rest of the animals. That is a sign of loyalty and he takes pride in his work. Lastly, not everybody is good like Boxer. He was sold to a horse slaughterer. I think that they didn’t have a good enough reason to do that to a very good worker and he was always there for them through good and bad times. During the story a lesson that I thought that was important in back in the days was that good people would die because they were unable to understand what was going on and maybe they never will. As for Boxer, he ended up the worst of all the animals because he died a very horrible death.

In Animal Farm, the way that they here the story impacts their ability to survive in the world. Many animals are important to the story but there are three that really gets through the story. Squealer for instance was important because he did all the chaos in the story. Next, Benjamin was the one that realized all the lies that were told to every animal and he understood what he needed to do next. Finally, we have Boxer. He was a horse that believe everything that he would hear and they were all lies. The story animal farm shows that those people that can't figure out the truth in time, will soon realize their tragic fate.

Animal Farm

In Animal Farm, Napoleon lies to the other animals because he wants to be the top pig on the farm. First, he lies to keep looking good. When a storm past by and destroyed the windmill he decided to blame Snowball. Instead of telling the truth he told a lie to all the animals on the farm. He said "Commrades, Do you know who is responsible for doing this? Do you know the enemy who has come in the night and overthrew our windmill? SNOWBALL! Second, Napoleon can get anything he wants. In the passage it states that "He has a reputation of getting his own way!" To become the leader of the farm he ran Snowball off the farm by letting out his dogs so he can become the leader of the farm. Third Napoleon wants more power . He kill the animals if they talked out of him. When the puppies were born, he took them away from their mom an told a lie to all the animals. he trained the to become huge, fierce dogs to scare the animals on the farm. In conclusion, theses are some reason why I think  Napoleon lies to the other animals so he can be the top pig around the farm and become the leader.

This article is based on Woody's impacts and achievements.  His songs was unforgettable and he will always be remembered to many people to were there during the great depression. His songs alone had an impact to America because during the great depression nobody had a way to entertain their self's. One day he began to sing. He had his own way to write his music such as Protest songs, testaments. During the depression he became an itinerant artist, he painted and he was singing for his supper in towns and across the country. Although his career seems to be perfect, he had a terrible time in the beginning. He preformed at Communist Party's, rallies, and he wrote for communist newspaper.
The author of the article is J. Freedom Du Lac and he wrote many articles of many people. he works for Washington post.com
This article helped me during my research because more information came across that I did not know about. I learned that he was very popular during his life time and that he had an impact to many people in America. He wrote may songs that everyone remembers and he had his own t.v show. He went through a lot to get where his is. He will always be remembered to many Americans that knew him and his songs.

Summary:
The school is back in session, and not much has happened. A month has gone by and it is now October. They have a new kid in their class and his name is Brucie. The children, are helping the teacher, Torey, decorate the classroom. As always, Jeremiah is the only one that talks a lot. He asked everyone what he or she is going to be for Halloween. He made front of one of the kid because he was going to dress up as a bunny. Then, he asked Jadie what she was going to be and she said she doesn’t have a costume. Jadie then said that she doesn’t like Halloween. As her character traits go on she is the type of person that likes to be alone. During recess, Jeremiah jumped the fence to the neighbors yard and took one of the puppies that were there. He was hiding in the basement of the school with Jadie. They were talking very dirty and she almost put her mouth in the puppy’s thing. If the teacher hasn’t come on time you don’t know what could have happened. Arkie Peterson came by and was talking to the teacher Torey, and they were thinking that Jadie might have been sexually abused.
Rating:
8.5
I gave this section of the book an 8.5 because it was really boring and a lot of talking until the last minute. The book can really go two ways because in the beginning it was really boring, in the middle it got really good, now it’s not really going the way I thought it was going to end. At the end, it really got me thinking and most books don’t do that to me.

Ghost Girl

Title: Ghost Girl
Author: Torey Hayden
Page: 125
Summary:

In the book “Ghost Girl, it got really interesting. For example, it’s the last day of the school year, so to celebrate they canceled class and had a picnic outside the school. They had chips, hot dogs, and cans of soda. They even had games to play. An accident had occurred between Reuben, and Jadie. It all started when Reuben had to go to the bathroom and Jadie followed him there. The teacher got suspicious and heard Reuben crying so when she opened the door all she saw was the two kids naked, not all the way though. The teacher decided to tell their parent, but at the same time she didn’t know what to do. While she was at the parking lot, Jadie appeared between the two cars, and she gave Jadie a lectured on why what she did to Rueben was wrong for many reasons. During the summer she went back to work at the clinic and she investigated Jadie’s and she found maybe what the problem was with her. She found with the help of people at the clinic that she might have been sexually abused. How would the story end?
Rating: 9
I gave the book a 9 because it really explains what is going on in the story. Also it started out boring like all the books in the beginning, but then it stared changing the prospective on how I thought it was going to turn out. You never expected what is going to happen. There was always a point in the story that made you think what is going to happen next.

For the national history day project i learned that our money was worth nothing at all. The great depression is also called "Black Tuesday." It all started when the wall street crashed in October. It left many people without work, money or anything. It also had to do with the economic crisis. To end it they traded with other places for money. The great depression started in October 1929.

The Most Dangerous Game

In the passage, “The Most Dangerous Game”, one of the many character is, Zaroff and he values liberty over equality. One example is Zaroff thinks that he is better than everyone and he can do what ever he wants. One impression that led me to believe this was when he said, he said, “Life is for the strong, and to be lived by the strong”. Second, he thinks all humans are worthless. During the story, he insults Ivan and said that “he was a savage” because he couldn't speak, or defend himself. The reason why he started killing human was because he already knew everything there is to know about hunting. In addition. to him thinking that he is better than everyone he also thinks it’s all right to hunt, and kill people. All he cares about is himself and nobody else. He bong sailors to ship-trap island and trained them to hunt well. Zaroff main purpose of doing this was so he can kill and hunt those sailors.   In conclusion, these are reasons that lead me to believe that Zaroff values liberty over equality.
